We have a couple of events coming up:
Tuesday, October 15th- Picture Day, This will be held at the field house next to the stadium at WHS. Please wear your game jersey (3-6 graders should wear pants, pads and bring helmets). All pictures will be taken individually and then digitally placed together for the team photo. We will start at 5pm. Even if you do not plan on purchasing pictures, please have your child photographed so we have the entire team in the picture. We will have practice on Tuesday as usual.
Friday, October 18- Homecoming parade. Please bring your child to Lee Burneson Middle School by 5:45 and we will walk as a group to the high school. Please have your child bring a bag of candy to throw to the crowd. Please wear game jerseys for free admission to the Varsity game.

The boys worked very hard yesterday and did a great job!
Practices for 5/6 will be Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday this week, we will not practice on Thursday. I know we have some kids going to Nuhop and others registered for the Wednesday shooting league so there is a lot of juggling taking place.
Please wear your jersey to school on Friday and then to the tailgate Friday night starting at 5:30pm. It is Youth Football Night at the varsity game. Our teams will be running onto the field in front of the varsity team. We are hosting the tailgate starting at 5:30m so we will need families to sign up to bring stuff. The link to sign-up is here
Also, the theme is whiteout. WYF bought white-out t-shirts for all coaches and players and will hand them out to parents at the tailgate. WE will put the white-out shirts on after we run onto the field. Players should wear jerseys and shorts or regular pants and tennis shoes. Players and coaches get in every game free, they have a list with your name on it at the table near the spirit wear booth. Other family members need a ticket. Please remember that varsity games are not drop off events and WYF coaches are not responsible for watching your child for the evening.
Our game this Saturday is at home at 1pm. Please have your child arrive by 12pm so they are marked and ready for the game. If you cannot be there, please let the coaches know ASAP- Coach Lett or Coach O. Have a great week!

Hello Football Families,

We will not have practice on Monday, enjoy your Labor Day together.

The 5/6 team will practice Tuesday and Wednesday this week from 6-8pm. They will not practice on Thursday.
All other teams will practice on their usual days unless you hear otherwise from your coach.

Please wear your game jersey to school on Friday.

Spirit wear orders have been extended and will be collected on Tuesday. I will go the Rec center for any flag parents that wish to place orders. I have shirts available to try on.

Please double check your game schedules, changes have been made to them and coaches are communicating the correct time and location.

Mark your Calendars- Our Youth Football night at the Varsity game is on September 13th at the Westlake High School stadium. Our teams will be on the field before the game and we will be hosting the tailgate beginning at 5:30pm. More info to follow.

Good luck at your first games this week!

Thank you,
